Another great place for the folks that own Tosca. Unlike Tosca, this is very casual, where you can bring the kids or grab a seat at the bar to enjoy one of their many, many beers.
The food goes with the atmosphere; casual fare that range from sandwiches to heavier entrees. They also serve breakfast, and have a decent sized kids’ menu. The food is above average but the menu is diverse and there are some solid choices. Sticking with the sandwiches is a much safer bet than the entrees at lunch.
Location is great but waterfront would be a little misleading. Yes, you can see the Harbor but you are across the street (and very busy one at that) from the water. Parking can be an issue if you want to park at the restaurant because spaces are very limited. You are better off parking behind Tosca and walking over.
Prices are reasonable and service is usually very efficient. Gets exceptionally busy on weekends and nights so be prepared to wait if you decide to stop in during these times. Four stars because it is one of the few places around the area where kids are welcomed and you don’t feel like you are bothering every other diner.

I loved this place! Only went once a week ago after a day at Nantasket Beach…. good service, good menu and fun atmosphere. Decor is a little hokey, but it works!
Fun appetizers and HUGE HUGE beers!

After much consideration I have decided that Stars is a really good place to go if you know when to go and order the right things… Not everything on the menu is stellar , but breakfast by & large is solid. The location is great in Hingham Harbor. They are kid friendly. Prices are decent. I live in Hingham so it’s the local option. Don’t know if I’d drive far to get here but hey, Arthur & Pats is closed all winter…a girl has to have a fallback that’s closer than downtown Boston…
Still not crazy about their lunch or dinners but on occasion they surprise me and I have something really great. I think it’s hard to go wrong at breakfast though…

This is a pretty cool place on Hingham Harbor. It’s a great place to go in the summertime. They make a GREAT turkey burger here, and they also have delicious sweet potato fries. A staple during the summer.

We went to Stars with a party of 5 adults and one infant. It is a great place for children. Very good service. Casual dining – nothing fancy. The food was tasty and the portions were a good size. I’d return.

Went here for dinner/snacks/beers on many occasions. Usually warm summer work days where baseball was on the tv and I needed an escape. Loved the atmosphere here, the people were friendly, the views inside and out were great, and the food and beer were fun and unique. Can’t wait for it to be summer again.

Definitely crowded, but such good food that you keep coming back. The selection is tremendous for any meal of the day. The breakfast is award-winning and they offer bakery bread from the Fire King bakery located nextdoor. The portions are huge and moderately priced for breakfast lunch and dinner. Definitely try the buffalo chicken rangoons, they are to die for! Also they serve a pretty great margurita. Drinks are resonable, service isn’t always the fastest, but they offer tv’s to watch the game, along with a casual dining atmosphere.
